Toasted Ravioli Bites with a Creamy Tomato Dipping Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1/8 cup milk
- 1 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp dried mixed Italian herb mix
- 325g pack of Grand Italian Increased Protein Beef Ravioli
- Oil for frying
- 1 tub Grand Italian Tuscan Finest Organic Tomato With Fresh Basil Pasta Sauce
- ¼ cup thickened cream
- Fresh basil leaves, optional
Method
- In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs and milk. Mix bread crumbs and herbs in a separate shallow bowl. Dip ravioli in egg mixture, then in crumb mixture, patting to help coating adhere.
- In a wok or frypan, heat approx. ½ inch of oil. Fry ravioli, a few at a time, 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- Place the pasta sauce into a small saucepan and add the cream. Stir until blended and heated through. Garnish the ravioli with torn fresh basil leaves and serve with the sauce on the side.
